Where can I find real credit repair reviews?
There are a ton of reviews sites out there like creditrepairreviews.net, creditrepaircompanyreview.com, and topconsumerreviews.com that provide reviews for their choices of the top credit repair companies but I know that in many cases these sites are paid for their reviews which probably explains why they each recommend different credit repair companies. Are there any sites with unbiased credit repair reviews?Answers...
Your skepticism is well founded. The first two sites you listed are almost certainly owned and controlled by the very companies they claim is the best credit repair company based on their "reviews" of the other companies in the industry which is a very shady practice to say the least. The third site is most likely an affiliate site where the owners of the site get a commission when you sign up for the recommended credit repair service. This is not to say that their reviews are not genuine since they probably get paid by any of the companies they list you sign up for, but it does mean that their rankings may be biased towards whichever companies pay the most.
Basically, it is safe to assume that any site providing credit repair reviews could be profit driven and inherently biased. Even RipOffReport listings have to be taken with a grain of salt. You never know if the complaint is valid or is someone or some company that wants to make another company look bad. There have even been some people who claim that RipOffReport themselves fabricates or at least embellishes some reports to maximize their profits. Yes, RipOffReport makes good money off the reports by extorting companies into paying tens of thousands of dollars in order to remove negative reports like they have done for Cash4Gold.
When looking for reviews of credit repair companies, you may be able to get a general feel for a company by the reviews you come across, but at the end of the day, unless you know someone with personal experience using a certain company, you are probably better off researching the companies themselves and forming our own opinions. Check out their websites and make sure they have the professional touch. Check out how long they have been in business. Call up the companies that seem promising and make sure they are able to answer all your questions. Credit repair services are not cheap so it is worth a little extra time and effort to make sure you end up with the best one for you.
