What is more important, my credit score or the stuff in my credit report?
Answers...
Your credit score is what gets used by most lenders. In fact, most lenders don't look at your credit reports at all. So if your credit score is where you need it to be, but you have negative information in your credit reports, it's probably not worth worrying about your reports. Just keep making payments on time and managing your debt so no new negative items get added to your credit reports.
But it should be noted that credit scores are based off of the information in your credit reports so it is kinda misleading to say that one is more important than the other.
